Crunch Time

It’s deadline week here at Southland Golf. This is one of the most stressful, and fun, parts of the job. This is the week we wrap up advertising sales, put our directories together, edit the stories, lay out the pages and send the finished product off to the printer. This is also when new ads roll in from advertisers, giving us a peek into what they will be promoting in December. A few things to look out for…
The Humana Challenge is coming to La Quinta January 14-20. Tickets and badges are actually already on sale at humanachallenge.com
Same goes for the Farmers Insurance Open, played at Torrey Pines January 21-27. Get tickets at farmersinsuranceopen.com
And we will be giving away free tickets to both events through our facebook and twitter pages in the month of December, so like us at facebook.com/southlandgolf or follow us at twitter.com/southlandgolf and watch for our contest posts.
The feature story in the December issue of Southland Golf will be the best and worst of 2012. Should be a fun, and possibly a little controversial, isue. Hit’s the stands November 29.
